Our two excursions to Kidspace have proven to be very popular amongst the kids and also the tutors! A combination of jumping castles, slides, soft balls, soft drinks, and a LOT of pizza equals a day of fun and excitement for all. It's a great opportunity for the tutors and the younger kids to interact together in a leisurely environment. It's amazing how many new friends everyone makes by the end of the day. The excursion (during school holidays) is also designed to reward the kids for their hard work during the school term.

Kidspace has given us many great memories. Perhaps the most memorable was the time Doug (student) tried to eat four pizzas by himself. Needless to say, he lost that battle after a couple of slices, but he did win the game of hide and seek!

You know the kids have enjoyed a fabulous day out when they can't wipe the smile off their face the whole way home. And the tutors? Well, we get to feel like we're kids again just for a day. A piece of advice for our next Kidspace adventure: bring lots of energy!
